Buying ND-Grad Filters
It seems that after a tripod, graduated neutral density filters are the next most useful piece of equipment for a budding landscape photographer since they allow the correct exposure of interesting foregrounds while retaining sky detail. [Photo 101] Camera Settings for Continuous...
On a recent whale watching trip I found it frustrating that my Nikon D60 could only shoot a small number of frames in a row before it paused, usually at the most inopportune moment! During the pause it was clearly saving the frames to the memory card but reducing the size of each frame from 11MB RAW files to normal quality JPEGs only increased the run from 3 to 4 shots.
